High Caste Colors - Reading Cushions

A good book and a cup of wonderful tea (or at times coffee) can be the ticket to a most relaxing afternoon. There are dozens upon dozens of books in the public domain available to read via notecard or weblink on SecondLife. (Look up Alliance Virtual Library, The Library @ Driftwood Beach, Virtual Harlem Books, and The House of Wu/The Reading Room in Caledon Victoria City.)


There is something psychological, too, about having your inworld self appearing to relax and read while your firstworld self enjoys a book, or studies for the next exam, or perhaps just goes through your inventory during a lull in your day.


These cushions already have a book open and waiting, one I felt deserved real print on the pages, and a real spine and leather-bound covers. It took me an hour to find and edit everything I wanted, correcting the texture repeats and sizings on the book itself, and essentially make it as realistic as I could while remaining low-prim.






I am hoping to add sub-Caste and lower Caste colors to this collection soon. If you or anyone you know has a special request, let me know --- I would be glad to discuss it and see what we can come up with!

After A Year...

It's May! The lovely month of May!

Into The Wilderness and her sister store, Into The Closet, have been around for a year. As a reward to long time customers and to those just learning about us, I have begun a group for the stores in HippoGroups. This will not take up one of those increasingly-precious slots SL gives us for inworld groups, plus you will not be interrupted inworld by sudden outbursts in group chat.

This month Into The Wilderness is pleased to offer a hay wagon for the group gift. It has five different sits, all animated:

The bottom railing
The baseboard
The folded blanket
The back haybale
The tilted haybale

I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it. (Apart from a small bit of frustration when first getting the sits to work *laughs*) Please stop by the shops and look for new releases coming soon!
